Synchronization of elements does not change

You tried to synchronize but the number of pending items does not decrease?

Never install the application of your tablet and/or PC because if you have not completed your sync, all your unsynchronized data would be permanently lost.

1. Steps to follow scrupulously to complete your synchronization:

  1. First, verify that you are using the latest version of Startloc, because it may correct your problem, for this, open the Startloc app, go to the Settings tab" and then raise the version number (located at the top right next to the logo) you will need it if you need to open a ticket (at the bottom of this article), then:
    1. If you are on an Ipad, go from your Ipad on the APPSTORE, look for "Startloc":
      1. If you see the button "update" Click on it, this will update your iPad with the latest version of Startloc
      2. If you button "open", this means that you have on the latest version of Startloc, move on to the next step
    2. If you are on an Android tablet, go from your tablet to the Google Play Store, look for "Starloc" (or click here):
      1. If you see the button "update" Click on it, this will update your iPad with the latest version of Startloc

  2. Verify the automatic sleep of your device and turn it off as it can block sync:
    1. On IPAD:Go to settings--> Luminosity and display--> automatic locking and select never.
    2. On Android:Go to settings--> View--> of the screen and select ever.
  3. Open the STARTLOC® app and click "Sync" in the tab "Synchronization":
    1. If you get the message "current synchronization", wait for all synchronizations to be completed, then revamp within 10 minutes if the number of pending items has decreased. If the number drops, it means that the synchronization progresses well (depending on the number of photos on the EDL it may take time).

1. 1.Lack of connection:To check the powerful flow rate, go to the "Synchronizations" tab, then click on "Test my connection", the indicators "Descending" and "Ascent" indicators must be green. If this is not the case (orange or red), it means that your connection is too weak to allow synchronization. 2. Too powerful firewall:In some cases, non-synchronization of elements is due to the fact that there is too powerful a firewall on your network. To detect the problem, connect your device to another network (other wifi network for example) and then retake synchronization. If sync works, contact your IT department to lighten firewalls that block Startloc synchronization.

3. Versions and storage

    1. On IPAD:
      1. Verify the age:Go to "Settings", then "General", then "Information", the Software Version must be greater than 13. otherwise in "General", click "Software Update" and update your tablet to upgrade to version 13.. If you can't do it then your Ipad is too old for us to help you. Apple regularly updates and we are forced to adapt by evolving our computer code.       2. Check the available memory:Go to "Settings", then "General", then "Information", the "Available" line must be greater than 1 GB. If this number is lower (or expressed in Mega Bytes) delete photos and/or applications from your Ipad to save a lot of space (it's about swimming). If you can't do it then your Ipad is too old for us to help you. We invite you to change equipment for a more recent one.
    2. On Android:
      1. Verify the age:Go to "Application", then click on "Settlement", and finally on "about" the tablet, you will then see the version of android you have, it must be greater than 10, otherwise, always in "about" the tablet, click on "Software Update" and put your tablet to day to upgrade to 10. If you can't do it then your Android tablet is too old for us to help you. Android (Google) regularly updates and we are forced to adapt to them by evolving our computer code. We invite you to change equipment for a more recent one.
      2. Check the available memory:Go to "Application", then click on "Pepheric", and finally on "Storage", the available space must be greater than 1 GB. If this number is lower (or expressed in Mega Bytes) delete photos and/or applications from your tablet to save a lot of space (it's about swimming). If you can't do this then your tablet is too old for us to help you. We invite you to change equipment for a more recent one.

4. Change the order of synchronizations

This system makes it possible to prioritize the synchronizations to be performed. So if you have a sync element that blocks the list, you can allow other elements to fully sync to our servers.

- Open the app and go to the "Synchronizations" section.
- Choose the first item from the list to synchronize, for example, "New State of the Play".
- Hold your finger pressed the six dots on the left.
- Drag the element down as much as possible.
- Exit the app by dragging down to display recently opened applications and close Startloc (do not log in).
- Find and restart the "Startloc" app.
- Go back to the "Startloc" app and start synchronization.

This will allow you to send your state of the premises to our servers and manage the sending of the state of play.
